As our Blue Pottery and Truck Art Designer, you’ll be responsible for creating eye-catching, authentic designs that capture the essence of these art forms while appealing to a contemporary audience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop original designs inspired by traditional blue pottery and truck art for various accessories (e.g., bags, phone cases, jewellery)
• Adapt intricate patterns and motifs to suit different product shapes and sizes
• Create digital renderings of designs for production purposes
• Collaborate with our product development team to ensure designs are feasible for manufacturing
• Stay updated on trends in both traditional art forms and modern accessories design
• Contribute to the conceptualization of new product lines
• Maintain a consistent brand aesthetic while pushing creative boundaries

Requirements:

• Proven experience in blue pottery and truck art design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work
• Deep understanding of the cultural significance and traditional patterns of both art forms
• Proficiency in digital design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Ability to adapt intricate designs for various materials and production methods
• Strong colour theory skills, especially in working with the characteristic blues of pottery and vibrant palettes of truck art
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Design, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in designing for accessories or other consumer products
• Knowledge of production processes for different materials (e.g., textiles, leather, metal)
